So today Mom and I went out to look at the car offerings around Bowmanville. We ended up finding one at the Oshawa-Whitby at Owasco VW.So as you can see, it is indeed a Golf. A 2001 Golf GLS to be exact. It isn't a diesel since they really are a bit harder to find; but no problem. You'll notice it is 4-door--I hear clapping in the distance. Can't forget to mention the sun-roof and heated seats. :) Oh, it only has 62,700 KM on it, so plenty of life left in it.
The scheduled pickup time is 2PM Thursday. Can't wait to call it mine!

Well, it's 2pm and you've probably been fidgeting impatiently at the dealership for a while now. Let us know how she drives in this lovely Canadian weather.
Well actually I don't have it yet. I have to wait for tomorrow since they weren't able to get it ready in time. :( So one more day. I've waited 8 months for a new car, I can wait another day.

Ryan finally got his car, late Friday afternoon. There is a story there that I'll let him tell, just not sure when that may be.
He left for Wainfleet and will be traveling on to Goderich Saturday, back to Bowmanville on Sunday and Kitchener on Monday.
So the car will get a good work out this weekend.
